Bodybuilders are not a fan of Turbulence Training. I don’t know why, but for some reason getting a workout done in less than 45 minutes really ticks them off.

I remember when I first tried out the Turbulence Training 2K3
workout from my TT for Fat Loss manual. It was in the dark and grungy downstairs weight room of System Fitness in the High Park area of Toronto – maybe you’ve even been there.

Anyways, that gym is full of bodybuilders. And hey, I have nothing against them, but they always gave me a hard time when I went in there and finished my supersets and entire workout so fast they didn’t even have time to finish training their biceps.

Spawn supplement is just another of the barely legal steroid supplements permitted to be sold and used as muscle builders. In doing a bit of research, I found out that Spawn supplement is actually a form of Prohormone, which is technically different from a steroid in that a prohormone isn’t immediately useful to the body but must be metabolized first, whereas a steroid is already in its finished, useful state.

Because of this, prohormones are considered damaging to the liver, and are usually only allowed to be taken with liver supporting compounds, like milk thistle. Spawn supplement is the equivalent of 2 relatively strong steroids, trenabol and epistane. The closest other anabolic substance that I found is called Havoc, which has been around since the 70′s and it contains only the prohormone epistane. Even though Spawn supplement has not been banned yet, or at least not when this article was published, many experts believe it will be banned soon because of its content of the prohormone trenabol. Most everything with trenabol gets banned.

Because of the strong toxicity of the spawn compound, it’s cycle is very limited, able to be taken for only 4 weeks. A lot of people in the bodybuilding world have been skeptical over whether any serious muscle gains can be made in such a short period of time. Four weeks isn’t long. Sure you can do some pretty intense workouts during that month, but in the long run is it really worth it to mess around with your physiology just for one good month of lifting? Ask yourself that question. For many, that’s enough incentive not to take the supplement, aside from all of the potential side effects.

The following possible side effects to spawn supplement are more of a list of general steroid and PH(prohormone) use. In other words, most steroids or PHs you could take run you the risk of the following side effects:

1. Interference with Normal Hormones 2. Endocrine System Impairment and/or failure 3. Hair loss 4. Acne 5. Liver Damage and Failure 6. Development of Effeminate Characteristics 7. Kidney problems and/or Failure 8. Increased Cholesterol and Higher Blood Pressure 9. Stunted Growth 10. Male Infertility

Being someone who’s taken weight gaining supplements before, I know that there’s a strong desire to break through the plateau and see fresh new results. No one wants to go to the gym for weeks at a time and still not be much better off than they were before. Supplements like Spawn promise to get you through those periods of stagnation and into the next level of your bodybuilding. But aren’t there other ways?

Why not try completely varying your routine first? Don’t stop there though, why not try changing your diet too. Maybe take a few supplements that promise to boost your energy and give you the stamina you need to break through to the next level. If you just run straight to a supplement like Spawn, you may end up regretting it later. Do your endocrine system a favor and give other things a good try first. And if all else fails, be content with less muscle.

Prohormones Supplements

Prohormones are converted to active anabolic steroids by the body. Because they require enzymatic activity for conversion, there is only so much that can be converted at a time. But the necessary enzymes are usually quite plentiful in the body, with the result that effects can be seen with only a small amount of prohormone supplementation. While many people claim to have had dramatic success with these drugs, the side effects were severe enough that most were eventually banned.

Evidence

There are many cases of bodybuilders crediting prohormone supplements for their bulging biceps and stacked lats, but actual scientific evidence seems to contradict the claims made by supplement manufacturers. According to a 2003 paper published in the “Canadian Journal of Applied Physiology,” some of the very same prohormones featured in Spawn have been shown to raise estrogen levels instead of decreasing them and increase your risk of cardiovascular disease and prostate and pancreatic cancers. Increased risk of disease aside, a drug that raises your estrogen levels will not, by definition, increase your libido or muscle mass, which are testosterone-defined traits.

Safety Of Prohormone Supplements

Prohormone supplements including Spawn carry quite a list of potential side effects including liver toxicity, loss of appetite, increased blood pressure and cholesterol, loss of libido and prostate enlargement. Women who take prohormone supplements may experience “masculinization” from the altered hormone levels — symptoms include acne, hair loss, increased facial hair and an increase in fat stored around the waist. Men may experience gynecomastia and shrinkage of the testes, and both sexes may feel fatigued and crampy. Bodybuilders who use prohormone supplements combat these side effects by simply taking more supplements, each of which also carries its own list of side effects and warnings.

Outlawed

The Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004 made most active steroids and many prohormones illegal, but supplement companies kept ahead of the curve and developed new formulas that had different chemical names, but were mostly the same substance with the same action and side effects. That’s where Spawn came in. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Bodybuilding.com, a major prohormone retailer, issued a volutary recall of all prohormone products, including Spawn, in 2009. The recall came after the FDA warned the company that the prohormone ingredients did indeed count as steroids and lead to a number of unfortunate side effects. The Myogenix website still has a product information page for Spawn, but it includes the notification that “Spawn has been banned by the FDA and discontinued by Myogenix, another prohormone supplement that cannot legally be purchased.

What did this new law do Andro?

If the new law signed by President Bush that basically everything Prohormones are illegal. Items such as Andro poppers, Nor-Andro, 1-D, Methyl 1-Test (M1T) and others were banned, and all the companies that made these ‘andro’ stopped production lines.

True. Shortly after the President signed the Act into force, most of his company, these products are developed rapidly, new products are legal. The law in many of the ingredients are illegal, so the producers have simply stated that the new ingredients were not on the list

Some of these products even more powerful and anabolic than the items that was banned! However, once again stated the FDA on these new products are illegal and they disappeared. Items such as Superdrol, Methyl-1-P and Masterdrol is sold out and is no longer sold by almost everyone.
